All righty, I’ve decided to put all of my final reception ideas in one post for reference. There will be whites, pinks, and browns.
Table Runners
Candles

Centerpieces (+ Napkins)
-I’ve chosen to go with the sandblasted manzanita with orchids instead of the dark reddish brown branches.

Additional: Coffee filter flowers for napkin rings and on the tables, which I [...]

I spent $122 at IKEA yesterday. Don’t worry- it was all necessary, and at a really good price. $122 will buy you 144 10-hour candle votives, 144 candle holders, 9 bottles of sparkling juice, and 8 bulb cords for lanterns. I will be shipping all of this to Pensacola this weekend.
I will be going with [...]

We’re not JAM.

This is unnecessary, but w/e. As much as we’d like to be Jim and Pam on The Office, we most definitely are more of a Ryan and Kelly. (We love The Office, but haven’t watched any of the fourth season. Not cool! Patiently waiting until the DVD…) (Omg, wouldn’t it be so dorky/coolest ever if [...]

I was looking on Etsy for registry items, and yes, I searched for “Ira Glass.” And, um… if you want to get this for us, and want to spend $2000, sure…
Don’t really. But it’s interesting. An original painting by the seller ckuhwald.

Etsy is featuring some great stuff on weddings recently, and I’ve been hooked on reading all the new articles every day. Today, I read the story of Dana’s wedding which took place in Deland, FL- wow, she’s so close by! You can read her entry on her recylced and very interesting wedding here. It all looked [...]

Yes, the title of this posts is quite possibly the fanciest I’ve ever had on here. French makes everything seem fancier. Remember that.
An interesting situation happened last night: I taught my mother how to RSVP. Either she has never responded to an RSVP properly before, or she has never been invited to a wedding in the [...]

We’re using mushroom craft birds, votive birds, and others in our wedding, but we wish we could afford these very cuuuuute Ann Wood birdies.

I want brown bows like these. Do I really have to rent them, though? Definite project for Grandma.

I like how these programs are different colors. I could do cream, brown, and pink.

More tables in long rows… I really want to do this, but will they hold enough people in the Fil-Am?

Play it.

There’s this popular song out there right now that has a girl singing about a DJ and not stopping the music… or something… hmm… nevermind. If I knew what that song was, I’d make it the title of this post. I am not much for popular music. I don’t listen to the radio unless it [...]

Glasses or No?

Ok: These aren’t the most flattering of pictures. However, nothing in the world can cover up the fact that I have a huuuuuge nose. I never really thought I did, until I started comparing my nose to others, and I’ve had to become comfortable with the fact that I’ve got a nice, smushy, big Filipino/Villarama [...]

OooOo!

Now I know what to do with the lattice that usually stand behind the buffet. Yay!
I tracked down this image that I found on IndieBride to Martha Stewart online. Here’s what the description of this says…
Light Bright
This fireworks-inspired twinkler serves as mood lighting for a holiday party — and as year-round art once the rest [...]

…Finally MIA?

I haven’t posted since the TWENTIETH OF FEBRUARY! Oh my golly, why? Have I been busy? No, not really. I just haven’t been that “into it.” I go through this stage with my normal blog often- I have to feel motivated to write about something if I want to blog. BUT, it’s not like I [...]
